👨‍🍳 Create recipes/programs in JANBY TRACK

Create recipes for your products in JANBY Track in 3 steps: choose the type, set its times/temperatures and add additional controls

First, go to the Programs menu and press the (+) button to create a new recipe.

Step 1

Choose the type of recipe you want to create

  • Timer program: this is a timer that will monitor the progress of your product and will notify you when it has reached the indicated time.
  • Cooking with SmartVide program: this is a Sous-Vide recipe that takes care of time and temperature. You can indicate the time and temperature at which you want to cook or regenerate your products. Please note that in order to cook later, you will need the JANBY Track to be connected to a Sammic SmartVide.

Step 2

If you have chosen a timer program, you will be able to edit the name and timer that you want the JANBY Track to control. In the Time option, you can only control the progress time, such as cooking, baking or any secondary operation that is carried out in the kitchen and you want to have a reminder when the expected time is reached.

For Cooking/Regeneration recipes with Sammic SmarVide, once you have named the recipe, you can adjust the time and temperature parameters.

Step 3

JANBY Track offers additional controls called “Active Controls” that allow for greater control over the process. These controls are explained in separate articles.

Favorite/Default Recipe, when scanning a tag

As a final note, when you have more than one recipe within the same color group, you can select your "favorite" recipe by holding down on the recipe, dragging it to the left and putting it on top. Each time you scan a tag of that color, this favorite recipe will automatically be selected. After a few seconds without making any changes, this favorite recipe will proceed to cook. However, if you click on the screen, it will stop the cooking and you will have the option to select any of your other recipes to cook.
