In our store you can buy more JANBY Tags, both numbered and unnumbered, to replenish or increase the number of portions to be controlled.
JANBY Tags are our small plastic pieces that are used to quickly identify portions by knowing only a color and number. They come in 8 different colors:
Yellow, Purple, Red, Blue, Green, Gray, Brown, Beige
For each color, the number can range from 1 to 99. When you receive your JANBY tablet or SmartVide X / XL, one TAG of each color is included. Additionally, in the JANBY store it is possible to buy more tags of each color, each package containing 10 with the numbers from 1 to 9.
Tags are attached (using a clamp or basket) to the portions so that the system tells you which color and number tag you should operate on.
Replace lost JANBY Tags or more numbers
There is an option to buy JANBY Tags without a number and assign them a number manually. For high production kitchens, the tags from 1 to 10 that can be purchased in the store may not be sufficient. That is why you can also buy tags without a number in our store.
You can then use the tablet to indicate what number you want to give to each Tag. This way you can replace tags that you have lost or add new numbers to your color and number system.
Set the number in a tag without number
To record the number on one of the unnumbered tags that you can buy in our store, you just have to go to the Settings > Tags section on the tablet, scan the tag to which you want to assign a number and the Track will identify the color.
At that moment the colored tag will be displayed on the screen and you will have to enter into the tablet what number you want to record internally on the Tag. After having written the number on the screen, scan the Tag again to save the changes.
